I lifted the phrase from [pg. xyz] in Life of Pi. I thought it was a fun pairing of words that aren't next to each other very often. It's been my web and email domain ever since.

The phrase was sitting in an innocuous passage. I kept it as a web domain, and the domain outlasted the blog.
A surviving note from 2012
